It’s been 200 hours and counting as Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul-Razak approaches the final stages of her ten-day (140-hour) attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the longest culinary marathon.
Chef Failatu On Day 9
Originally scheduled for five days, Chef Faila’s culinary marathon, which began on January 9, 2024, was initially scheduled to last five days.

However, his team announced an extension to ten days, citing the need to eliminate current attempts and further attempts in the future.
His effort received widespread support from various sections of Ghanaians who gathered at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, where the event is taking place, to provide moral support to Chief Faila.
Other Ghanaians have also expressed their support for the daring leader on social media.
