Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has announced Ghana’s final 27-man squad for the AFCON 2023 to be held in Ivory Coast.

At a press conference at the Alisa Hotel, Chris Hughton announced the names of the selected players and answered questions from the media.
The team had some usual faces such as Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew and Daniel Amartey among others.

Notable absentees from the list include Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, Baba Rahman, Fatawu Issahaku and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The team also has three local players, with Richmond duo Lamptey and Kotoko’s Medeama, Hamid Abdul Fatawu and Jonathan Sowah, making the squad.
