AFCON 2023: Following the announcement of the Black Stars camp in South Africa, some Ghanaians criticized the Ghana Football Federation for its decision.

Some argue that since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Ghana’s neighboring country of Ivory Coast, the team should have held its camp in Ghana or Ivory Coast.

They supported their argument that the country is going through a financial crisis and camping in the suggested countries will reduce costs and also benefit the players due to the weather conditions.
