The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is reportedly considering reappointing Otto Addo as head coach of the Black Stars.

Is GFA Considering Otto Addo As Head Coach For Black Stars?

The Ghana Senior Men’s National Team is currently without a permanent coach following the dismissal of Chris Hughton. This was due to the country’s poor performance at the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

The GFA set up a committee to find a new coach and outlined specific requirements for the position.

However, speculation is rife that Otto Addo is leading the race to become Ghana’s next manager as talks between him and the GFA continue.

Otto Addo replaced Milovan Rajevac as the team’s coach in early 2022. He played a key role in helping Ghana qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup by beating Nigeria in two matches.

At the World Cup in Qatar, Ghana won only one match against South Korea and lost the last two matches against Portugal and Uruguay. After the tournament he returned to his position at Borussia Dortmund.
