Chef Failatu Abdul Razak continues her quest to break the current Guinness World Record for the longest culinary marathon today, Saturday January 6, 2024.
LIVESTREAMING: Chef Failatu Crosses 126 Hours, Aims 240 Hours
Today marks day six of his attempt, having begun his quest to break the current Guinness World Record for the longest culinary marathon – the Cook-a-thon – on Monday January 1, 2024.
She targets a 240-hour culinary marathon after extending it from 120 hours with the event at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
She enjoyed support from Ghanaians across the country who came to the event venue to show their support.

The Cook-a-thon became popular in 2023 after Nigerian chef Hilda Baci broke the world record at the time. However, an Irish chef overthrew her a few months later.
Alan Fisher cooked for 119 hours, 57 minutes and 16 seconds. Chef Failatu has been cooking for 126 hours and counting.
